Griquas rugby sponsorship
Louis and Cora are unabashed rugby fans but Wildeklawer's sponsorship of Northern Cape's provincial Griquas rugby team goes beyond this.
Louis explains: "Our onions owe their distinctive quality to the rich soil of this province and to the unique skills and experience of literally hundreds of its people; it is important Wildeklawer puts something back that is meaningful. The spirit that characterises our national sport characterises the production of Wildeklawer onions."
Vodacom Cup Triumph - Sweet sounds of success

Vodacom Cup 2005
In one of the closest finals in Vodacom Cup history, the Wildeklawer Griquas proved they are a force to be reckoned with when they edged a 27-25 victory over the Impala Leopards in 2005. Celebrations erupted around the Wildeklawer Stadium where supporters turned up to cheer their team on.
With a reputation as the country's biggest single producer of onions as well as a substantial potato producer, Wildeklawer is also the proud sponsor of the Northern Cape provincial team.
To show their support for the local team, owners Louis and Cora de Kock closed their company for the day and took all the permanent workers to the final. They made a colourful picture, decked out in their uniforms as they loudly sang along to the tunes of the De Beers brass band, cheering their team to victory. So popular was this impromptu choir, that requests have been made for the Wildeklawer Choir to attend various events in Barkly-West.
