Shortly after Louis de Kock's Potato Farmer of the year award in September 2005, comes further recognition for Wildeklawer's Louis and Cora – this time from Freshmark - as top supplier for quality fresh produce.

Freshmark is a member of the Shoprite group, sourcing and distributing fresh produce for the group to some 500 Checkers, Shoprite and OK Foods stores. Freshmark's direct business is with some 500 producers nation-wide, and spans the full range of fresh produce. Freshmark's turnover amounts to some R1.2 billion annually.
Louis and Cora scooped this award amidst a group of Freshmark's ten top producers at a glittering gala event on a Stellenbosch winefarm on Saturday 3 December 2005. Wildeklawer's produce was rated in terms of quality, reliable supply, participation in promotions, innovation, growing the range, food safety and growing the business.
